This blog has morphed into a cat blog after previously being a place for me to write about Infertility and then non-Infertility stuff. Since I will never be a mother to humans, I may as well go on and on about my feline babies.
I got to spend 9 days with my husband from 5/22-5/30 in Chicagoland. It was so nice to be together again; we actually felt married! haha. I worked from the hotel during the day and we had 2 weekends together. We went up to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on one weekend, and toured various towns around Chicago the next. I also found a great yoga studio and went to 4 classes; her classes are way harder than the classes I go to in Michigan. She kicked my butt, but it was so worth it! I even got Tarzan to go to a class with me on Sunday morning - thankfully we were the only 2 students! He realizes now that yoga is not easy at all! haha.
It looks like you had an awesome time and your pictures are beautiful! I wish we were able to meet up. Maybe soon; as it's looking more and more like we're moving back to MI.
Sounds like a great time! Glad you got that stretch of time to spend together. Scott recently tried yoga with me, and I think it's too hard for him. He doesn't want to do it anymore. :)
Those photos look so relaxing and beautiful! Isn't it cool how many pretty miles of beach there is in the midwest? Yes I would totally love to meet up for coffee. I'm going to find your email right now and pass along my cell. Tracy wants to meet up too. If it works out maybe all three of us could do a day. But if it's too hard, we'll still get together soon :-)
I'm the sweetest cat and love to get attention from my mommy. I also love to play outside (supervised) and chase leaves. I'm slowing down in my old age, but still like to have fun.
Guido - age 9
I've recently overcome some very serious health issues that required surgery. I'm feeling so much better now and am working on a full recovery. I'm a very sweet boy with a mild and submissive personality. I let the girls run the show around here and do what I'm told.
Rascal "Fiona" - age 11
I've been here in this family since January 2010. Guido and I became fast friends, but I don't really like Pachi. However we get along for the most part. I'm super affectionate and sometimes my mom gets sick of me, but I just need love, that's how I was made! I'm also very bossy with the other 2 cats. My name is Rascal, but mommy's friend Anne thinks I look and act more like a Fiona.
Claudio - age 12
I don't live here anymore, but I did for 9.5 years. I am Pachi's half brother, but I was sort of a troublemaker and a pest to Pachi so I moved in with my grandma in Dec 2009 I'm very happy there and spoiled rotten. My mom still visits me once a month or so.
